ORIGINAL W.W.I GERMAN HELMET BATTLEFIELD FIND IN FRANCE This is a heavily damaged battlefield find from a forest in France. I am not sure of the type,(M16, M17, or M18), but have heard of it referred to as a "Frankenstein" style because of the sniper shield lugs which resemble the bolts that the "monster" has protruding from his neck. Shell only No liner. There is extreme damage which I believe adds to the character of the item and would make it a poignant display piece for an office or den.
